Sally Haughey is the founder and CEO of Wunderled, formerly Fairy Dust Teaching, and a passionate advocate for early childhood educators around the world. Her teaching journey began in 1996, and her work is deeply rooted in a play-based philosophy inspired by approaches such as Waldorf and Reggio Emilia. In 2010, Sally founded Fairy Dust Teaching, which has since grown into Wunderled — a vibrant global community of more than 240,000 educators across 120 countries. Through her work, Sally inspires educators to reignite their passion, strengthen their purpose, and embrace the transformative power of play. Her mission is to help educators create meaningful, joyful learning experiences that nurture children’s imagination, curiosity, and connection.
